Christmas cards using Silhouette Store files and glitter paper

This is a file from the Silhouette Store that I cut mirror cardstock with and glued down to glitter paper and then attached to a 5.5x5.5 heavy card base.  The aqua one is one I did for Amiti and it is the only one I made from this cut file which is also a Silhouette store file.

Finally - a Christmas card!

This is a card made from a free cut file from Bird's Cards at this post http://www.birdscards.com/snowflake-card-cover/.  The words are Chopin script font from my computer.  Also thank you to Glenda Brooks for the advice on adhesive. The glitter cardstock is a pain to both cut and glue down.

Melba's BD Card from a CUP file

This is a 3D image I got from CraftsUPrint.  It was printed on my printer and cut out with scissors and then the layers were popped with pop dots.  I added sparkle on the background and on the roses.  I haven't posted in a while and really haven't made many cards, this one was made in June.  I had planned on having most of my Christmas cards made by now but I have not even made one!  Definitely running behind.

Janice's BD card

This is the card I made for my niece Janice for her birthday.  The first one shows how it looks closed and the others are with the front open and then the inside of the card.  I had to use my knife to cut out the opening and also the frame so it isn't perfect but I hope she likes it,  She is only 8 months younger than me and this is a picture of us when we were a lot younger so I hope it brings back some happy memories for her!  The corners are cut from a La La Land die and the swirl is from Spellbinders.

Shaker card for Elaina's 12th Birthday

This is a clipart image I uploaded and inserted word art and tuped the message on the banner. I cut the center out and put transparency over it. I went over the confetti and the opening with stardust stickles for a little sparkle.  I didn't have dimensional tape so I used some fun foam that I had left over from another project and just cut the opening out and used it for the backing under the card front and just added sequins for the noisemakers. I hope Elaina likes it. She is a beautiful and smart little girl and it is hard for me to believe she is 12 already.

Alexander enjoying his smash cake on his 1st birthday

Alexander enjoying his smash cake for his 1st birthday

Alexander's Mickey cake for his first birthday

Mickey Mouse is Alexander's favorite show to watch and he will sit straight up and watch when they play the "hotdog dance" and then lay back down and be asleep after the song goes off.  This is the cake I made for his first birthday cake.  I have not made a character cake in several years but he was very pleased with this one.

Thanksgiving card for Lauren

This is a card I made for a lady who has been so wonderful to us.  She gave Alexander a baby bed, the whole set of Winnie the Pooh bedding, all kinds of clothes, and even toys.  She isn't family but with all the love she has given to Alexander and the rest of us she is family by heart! I want her to know that we appreciate everything she has done and just for being there.
I am not sure why this is turned in this direction on the blog because in my pictures it is not.  Oh well.  I used "Tiny Turkey colored" from Louby Lou Designs and just added the sentiment on my computer and sparkly ribbon and rhinestones and Sakura Stardust pen around the sign and on the lines on his feathers.
