Beautiful Day
No card or anything creative today just enjoying a beautiful day that God has given us. It has been pleasantly warm but not so hot that I couldn't stand to be outside. We are all getting together at Stephanie's tomorrow after church "just because" and not for anything special but to enjoy family time. I enjoy these times together because my grandkids are growing up so fast, and I still can't believe that my kids are this old, it seems that they should still be teenagers or younger!

Wishing well for family reunion
I colored this card with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, cut the embossed edge with a Martha Stewart punch and dry embossed the trim with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots folder and added pink ribbon and bow and then mounted on coredinations bright pink paper.
Girl with cupcake card for family reunion
I think this is a Sarah Kay stamp but not sure and the stamp is in another room so I can't check right now. I love this design and think she is so cute! I embossed the surround with a QuicKutz Frame A2 and mounted it onto pink coredinations paper.
Northwoods duck and ducklings for family reunion
I colored the card with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and cut out and mounted on yellow cardstock which was trimmed with a gold pen and then dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and then mounted on white cardstock for the base.
Angel card for family reunion
I used "clear star" gelly roll pen on the angel's wings and they are very sparkly in real life and the golden halo around her is also sparkly, but unfortunately the sparkle doesn't show up when scanned.
Thinking of You card for family reunion
I embossed the card front using a Cuttlebug folder and heat embossed the Thinking of You using a combination of silver embossing powder and silver tinsel embossing powder and also made the silver layer around the card the same way.

Ike's BD card 2011
This is a very simple card for someone who does not like a lot of fuss or glitter and glam. I did use a Sakura Stardust pen on the fish to make it look like sun sparking off the scales and on some of the water ripples around it and then made a couple of score lines above and below the picture with my ScorPal and made a frame with my Nestabilities Labels One.
